Anotace
Over 60 years, a known group of smart materials has fascinated with their outstanding behaviour. Their uniqueness consists of extraordinary ability to be transformed from liquid- to solid-like state in order of milliseconds after the application of an external electric or magnetic field. This effect results in a significant change in material behaviour, and consequently, when the applied field disappears, the material can return back to the original fluid state.
